In this painting the monster has transformed into a mermaid, though the shagginess remains. This was also done around the time I was in college studying art. The components are commonplace in my work of the time. Ancient architecture from a not quite actual source; planets and spacescapes; and fantastical creatures juxtaposed illogically in the overall place. It is a dream world, and one I find restful.
